    We like to think of ourselves as your creative partners, putting our hearts into each project we do. As business owners, we understand how valuable your time and finances are. 


    When you invest in our services, we ensure our process is completely streamlined and value-packed with the goal of building a brand and website that is 100% yours. We serve clients North America-wide, working with a select number of businesses per month so that we can give each the care and dedication to their project as if it were our own.

  • How quickly can we begin?

    Our availability largely depends on our existing client workload. We like to dedicate our full focus to each project we take on, and because of this - only take on so many projects per month.

  • Do I need a logo or branding to start?

    Branding is essential to making your website unique to you. If you don't already have a logo or brand assets, don't worry! You have options:


    You can add one of our semi-custom brand kits to your service, which are pre-designed branding bundles where we swap out a few details to make it yours. With this option, we would add about a week to your project timeline and would complete this prior to beginning your website.


    If you want to invest in a completely bespoke brand, our Custom Brand Design package offers everything you'll need for a strong brand foundation. This would add 2-3+ weeks to your project and can coincide with when you're working on your prep homework. 

  • I'm not sure where to begin with my website, do you help with this?

    We've got you! We find the best project outcomes are based on amazing communication and preparedness.


    Once you've booked with us, you'll receive a welcome onboarding guide, discovery homework, and a checklist of things to start collecting before we begin. This includes things like:

    • brand assets (logos, colours, fonts)
    • headshots/brand images
    • website copy and content
    • domain (URL) login information

    We also recommend gathering inspirational images to give us a sense of the look and feel you're going for. We love Pinterest and provide steps on how to create and add Lume to a collaborative board.

  • Do you offer any additional print or design services?

    As a full-service graphic design studio, we work alongside you to turn your goals into a reality. Additional services can be added on now, or later on to create a bespoke package for the unique needs. We would discuss this further during your initial consultation and include these suggestions along with quotes on the project proposal. 


    Some examples of add-on services would be:

    • Marketing collateral design (business cards, thank you cards, price list, freebies)
    • Social media templates
    • Product Photography
    • Digital illustration
    • And more!

  • What if I need support after my website is launched?

    When you're our client, we're in it with you and are here to answer any questions you may have along the way.


    Our Custom Website package includes 1-month post-launch support to ensure everything is working as it should. We are also happy to provide options for monthly management or maintenance on an as-needed basis and can provide a quote based on your needs.

  • How do I book?

    The first step is to reach out! We provide free discovery calls in which we chat for 15-20 minutes about your business, project goals, and what outcome you hope to achieve in working together.


    From there, you'll be sent a custom proposal outlining your project details, timeline, and quote. To complete your booking, you'll be guided to complete a contract and the initial, non-refundable deposit.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Absolutely! 


    As small business owners ourselves, we completely understand the value of a big investment like a custom website.


    Because of this, we create a bespoke package based on your unique business needs. We'll discuss your goals and budget at the very beginning and provide a pricing breakdown and payment plan structure in your project proposal.


    All prices are in Canadian dollars and we are thrilled to serve clients North America-wide. E-transfer is our preferred method of payment, but we also accept most major credit card or cheques. 

  • Are there any other costs aside from the design?

    Apart from the design fee, it is customary to also have associated costs for hosting and domain. Here is a quick break-down:

    • Website build = the initial design fee to create your website
    • Host  = Where your website lives (billed yearly)
    • Domain = the URL or address that people type in to find your website (billed yearly, or every couple of years)
    • Website maintenance/updates  = as needed

    Lume Creative offers design, hosting, and maintenance services. The quote you receive for your Custom Website service includes the initial design fee, along with the first year of hosting. Some of our clients opt for a paid add-on page or additional features which we can discuss and include in the quote. 


    Your hosting renewal will happen every year from the time we launch and will be invoiced directly from Lume Creative. Paying your hosting on time ensures your website remains active. 


    To launch your site, you'll need to choose a website URL and purchase your domain name. We recommend GoDaddy or Squarespace Domains for their low costs and reliability. This will be billed by the chosen domain source on a monthly, yearly, or every few years basis depending on what you choose.


    From time to time, you'll need updates or changes made to the website. We're happy to quote this out on an as-needed basis depending on the project scope. Some of our clients feel comfortable making minor changes on their own.
